It was back in the mid-1980s that I first heard the song COMMUNICATION by THE POWER STATION. I was getting ready to graduate from High School and enter the US Army. I was full of young energy and ready to hit the ground running. It was not until I reach West Berlin, Germany that I realized what the message of the song was all about.
The Message of this song is the message.
This song might sound like a simple love song about someone not wanting to lose touch with a loved one. This song goes a little deeper and it has become the foundation of what COLD STEEL MEDIA is all about: “Our communication must get through. Our communication depends on me and you…”
Though this song was written and records in the 1980s it is if it was written for today. Then again, the message is timeless. Communication is how things happen. Communication is how we grow.
